In Microsoft MovieMaker
It is important that all assets (images, video, music, sounds) be kept in the same accessible place throughout creation of the video. If students keep them in different places (some at home, some on a flashdrive, some on the hard drive) they will lose access to those assets at some point during the process. Here's one way to protect their projects.
1) Create a folder in their H Drive called BOOK TRAILER
2) create two nested folders inside the BOOK TRAILER folder
IMAGES
MUSIC
3) Save images in the IMAGES folder (see the JPGs PNGs GIFs AND BMPs page for how to save images off the internet) and sounds in their MUSIC folder.
4) Transfer everything from flash drives to the proper folder. Do not let them work from their flash drives. Anything that they use in MM from their flash drives will only be accessible when the flash drive is plugged in. so make them do that extra step of transferring to their image folder first.
